Our offices are staffed around the clock with customer service representatives for your convenience. While most of our competitors work from their homes, StarPoint Protective Services staffs fully functional offices. Our customer service representatives are not salespeople; they are security professionals assigned to light duty or administrative functions. Desk personnel are utilized as watch-commanders with full authority to make supervisory decisions for StarPoint Protective Services.
If you are shopping around for a security provider, one of your big questions is probably about cost: “what’s the bottom line”. Unfortunately, if this is your only focus, we cannot give you a quick answer over the phone. There is no menu when it comes to providing superior, custom security solutions. At StarPoint Protective Services we won’t even discuss price until we have been out to your site, met with your representatives, returned to the office, and prepared an initial security needs assessment.
Before we deliver a proposal…
Our operations staff will visit your site in person to better determine your security needs. This includes performing a walkthrough of the location to determine the current state of physical security, gathering information that is pertinent to your security needs, and discussing those needs with you as we go. We will then draw up an assessment, which includes an analysis of current procedures, recommendations for changes and/or additions to the current setup, and extrapolation of future needs.
Before we get started…
Once an agreement is reached for StarPoint to provide you with security services, but prior to the start of service, our operations staff will return to your location to speak with you in detail regarding the specific procedures, policies, functions and duties our personnel will be performing at your site.
Post Order Creation
Many physical security service providers do not focus time or resources on developing in-depth procedure manuals for their officers to follow. At StarPoint, we believe that this is an essential element to providing service on any scale. We will work with you to create a set of comprehensive Post Orders – Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual – custom tailored to each individual location, containing detailed instructions regarding every post or patrol within that location.
In many cases, companies do not have a dedicated security professional in house. The downside is that when it comes to selecting a service provider, the in-depth knowledge or understanding of security needs isn’t always available within the company. Whether this is the case or not, we feel that by following the simple formula as outlined above, it enables our customers to make more informed decisions when establishing or revamping security for their site. Our management team takes the time to talk to you about your security needs, and helps provide the understanding and familiarity necessary when it comes to making a decision. We provide an open line of communication from your first point of contact, through the assessment process and maintain this same level of communication for as long as we provide service.
